At Harbour Family Counselling, we support individuals, couples, and families through life’s most meaningful challenges and transitions. We’re currently welcoming applications from practicum students who are passionate about developing their counselling skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our office is located in Saanich, BC.

Who You Are
You are a dedicated and empathetic student counsellor who is committed to personal and professional growth. You are eager to develop your clinical skills with individuals, couples, or families (depending on your training goals) and excited to be part of a team that values integrity, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection—not just with clients, but also with colleagues.
You’re looking for a placement where:
Your development is supported through regular supervision and mentorship
You are welcomed as a valued member of a collaborative and values-driven team
You can practice in-person counselling, with flexibility to offer virtual sessions when needed

Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level counselling program (e.g., Counselling Psychology, Clinical Social Work)
Eligible for practicum placement as part of program requirements
Passion for working with individuals, couples, or families (depending on interest and training)
Availability to work in-person at our Saanich office, with flexibility for occasional virtual sessions upon client request
Commitment to approximately 10–15+ clinical hours per week (flexible depending on program needs)
